2. How We Use Cookies and Local Storage

Essential Authentication (Local Storage)

Vestara uses the Supabase Auth SDK, which stores authentication tokens in your browser's Local Storage. These tokens are necessary to maintain your login session and cannot be disabled without losing the ability to sign in. No sensitive information (such as passwords or payment data) is stored in Local Storage.

Cloudflare Security Cookies

Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may set cookies for security and performance purposes, including:

• __cf_bm — Bot management cookie used to distinguish humans from automated traffic.
• __cflb — Load balancing cookie to ensure consistent service delivery.

These are strictly necessary cookies that cannot be disabled. They do not track you for advertising purposes.

Google OAuth

If you choose to sign in with Google, Google may set cookies from its own domain during the OAuth authentication flow. These cookies are governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

3. What We Do NOT Use

• No advertising or marketing cookies. Vestara does not use any third-party advertising trackers, retargeting pixels, or marketing analytics tools.
• No analytics cookies. We do not currently use Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or similar analytics platforms.
• No social media tracking. We do not embed social media widgets that place tracking cookies.

4. How to Manage Cookies

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:

• View and delete existing cookies.
• Block all cookies or only third-party cookies.
• Configure per-site cookie permissions.

Please note: Blocking essential cookies or clearing Local Storage will sign you out of Vestara and may prevent the service from functioning properly.
